NCT Life In Osaka : (Episode 11) The Most Popular Member Among Foreigner is..

 

In this part (in this stage?? I’m the biggest hit on the stage)..sorry. In this episode we going to see the boys having a super active hyper regular boys game thing and I love it. I mean who doesn’t like seeing the boy being happy and smiley and active? I’m longing for their happiness and smiles. Maybe some moment they going to feel down but I hope they always stay positive and live life in fullness. We live once. There will be no next next life except on external life later after we died. Well, that’s what I belief. So, let’s just enjoy our life while we can. I know sometime it’s hard but we’ll get through it.

Back to NCT Life in Osaka, the boys arrived at Eigamura and they are excited. They are excited to meet the ninjas. They are boys. Understandable, and yeah, this part started with the boys posing as ninjas. 5 handsome adorable ninjas in the middle of the street. Cool and cute. Why can’t they just cool or just cute and not both at the same time?  They are going to kill me soon to be honest if they keep doing this. But at least, I died happily. Worth it.

The 5 of them posing and making their own ninja movie kind of BGM. Haha.  Affter wizards, now they’re become ninja in just a day. While posing, both Doyoung and Yuta say that posing like that is burdensome but they are proud. And then in count 1, 2, 3, cue!! The boys let out a big sigh relief and lose their position. Yuta tells them that they are at Eigamura, a place where he wanted to go the most. Doyoung tells the boys to not forget that they’re still wizards so Yuta adds that they’re 5 wizards experience a time slip and become 5 handsome ninja guys. The rest get along with it.

While rooming around, they spot a movie filming that going on in the alley. Yuta who is having fun the most says that it’s a shame that he is not in the movie because he thinks that if he was in the movie, it would do really well. Doyoung reminds him that they’re wizards and not an actor. While they walking, it feels like a strange atmosphere around them and all of them turn their back and says ‘Whoah’ in shocked. Behind them are two ladies in Kimono. Full Kimono Attire. Kids, what so surprised about the ladies that you react like that? What makes it funnier is when the ladies also turn their back when the boys turn back. That would be me when people ask for my opinion in the meeting.

Yuta suggests them to ask the ladies for a popular vote. Remember last part while on the way to the Eigamura, they planned to do popular vote by asking passer by foreigner but unfortunately none of them have courage to ask since they are not confident with their English. So they decide to try again at the next opportunity and this time they are going to challenge with Japanese people. They walk over to the ladies with Yuta takes a lead.

 

Yuta introduces themselves and straight to the point asking the ladies who do they find the most handsome. The ladies start to check them out. Winwin, Yuta and Taeil start to appeal their charms actively while Doyoung and Taeyong are watchful. The ladies point Taeyong. Taeyong is surprised and says thank you. The members are not surprised and say that it’s expected.  Yuta asks excitedly in Korean of who’s the least handsome before he realized it and then asks in Japanese again. The ladies check them out again and discussing seriously. The rest are restless and try to avoid eye contact with the ladies. The ladies say that no one is least handsome and that everyone is handsome. The boys are satisfied and thanking the ladies.

They rooming around again and saw a ninja doll hanging in the wall. Doyoung says that the ninja is Chenle so the rest shout to ‘Chenle’ to get down. Now, I wonder why they say that. What Chenle do in their dorm? The boys are excited and like when they’re at Harry Potter place, they have random words festival here too and in Japanese. They spot dragon on the river or pond or lake. I have no idea what it is. Win win is funny. He calls the dragon ‘my baby’  and ask why it are there instead of at home. He also tells Doyoung that the dragon is his pet.

Since they have fun walk around already, Doyoung suggests them to play a game. An active one. Yuta suggests “Dustpan”. I have no idea about that game. Turn out he meant to say “Hide and Seek”. The members laugh over it. Doyoung the game master wants to play “Kkomkkomi”. Since some are have no idea about the game, Doyoung excitedly explains it but before he finished talking, Yuta says that he know about it. Turn out again Yuta is wrong. He thinks another game and not Kkomkkomi. Taeils tells Doyoung to repeat his explanation and this time full detailed. Unfortunately, our Winwin shows zero understanding this time. By the way, Doyoung actually explains it well. Since Winwin is still confused, Doyoung explains it for 3^rd time.

 Doyoung (try hard to explain) : For 10 minutes, you count 10, 9, 8, 7..the other will run away and hide.

Taeyong : 10 minutes is too long…(Not helping at all)

Doyoung  is flustered because he just realized he said 10 minutes instead of 10 second.

Doyoung : 10 seconds!!10 seconds, you know~ (yup, a Korean tries his best to explain the game rule to a Chinese in English. Absolutely neo. Yeah, that’s NCT everyone.)

After the active detail explanations from Doyoung, Winwin finally understood perfectly and he is ready to play. Taeyong says that all games should be tested 1^st and that they should decide on area to play in. Also they should set a time limit. As expected from game planner leader.

So, here’s how they going to play this “Kkomkkomi” game. One seeker and he has to go around and look for everyone else after 10 counts. The rest have to go hiding and return to the selected kkomkomi spot and shout kkomkomi before the seeker to be safe. I think I played this a lot when I was child. But we instead of kkomkomi, we shout ‘sassy or sarsi or sassy’. We used ball as prop for the selected/fixed spot. Good old times.

The boys start to play “Kkomkkomi” according to how stem Doyoung does it around the tram things. They select the tram as Kkomkkomi spot.  This only a testing round, isn’t it? But nevertheless, they boys are eager to play and take their own hiding and attacking position. The games start as Doyoung as Seeker and the rest running all over the place finding their hiding spot. Mind that they have to return to Doyoung’s place (Kkomkkomi spot) and shout Kkomkkomi to be safe. So, they can’t go further. The last one or the caught one will be the loser.

Taeyong is having a hard to find a good hiding spot as he running around endless and finally find a spot to hide which is a house. The cameraman has a hard time too. Poor them. They run a lot this time. 1^st when they were in Osaka, trying to catch the ferris wheel times and now this.  Taeil also runs to hide and forgets that his cameraman have to hide with him too. So they shared that narrow space to hide. Winwin has different plan. He is not hiding in fixed spot but rather watching Doyoung’s movement carefully.

Doyoung finished the count and starts to look for everyone. Winwin who is watching Doyoung starts to attack and Doyoung running back but he is late, so Winwin who didn’t know the rules succeeds first. Taeil is observing them and looking for the right time to attack. Taeyong is checking with the staff. That’s not fair, Taeyong ah. He makes his move too. While Doyoung is looking for the rest, both Taeil and Taeyong attack and both are succeeds. Doyoung is restless as he couldn’t catch 3 of the members. Yuta is still not around and turn out he is playing ninja in his hiding spot like a kid. Yes real man, Yuta. He observes Winwin, Taeil and Taeyong attacking before decide that he also should attack.

Like Taeyong, he also checks with the staff while Doyoung’s footsteps are on fire as he running looking the wherebouts of Yuta. And yeah, the cameraman also feels like it’s on fire. The 3 boys start to trick Doyoung by shouting Yuta’s name which is working. Poor Doyoung. Yuta who is still hiding then sets off after received signal from Taeyong like a ninja. Doyoung who realized it late fail to catch Yuta.

But that’s was a practice round. Since it real this time, they decide the punishment for the loser which is the loser has to go alone when they go to the haunted house later. Taeyong is in horror. They do the SPR to pick the seeker and Winwin is selected as 1^st seeker. Winwin starts to count while the rest looking for their hiding spot. Taeil immediately chooses his hiding spot which is right behind the tram. Well, that’s ambitious and dangerous at the same time. But, Taeil is good than Yuta who is hiding under the bench just behind the tram too. It looks like the boys like to hide near the tram this time since it’s easy to attack but also dangerous as it can be seen clearly by Winwin. And yeah, Yuta is immersed in his ninja game in this round too.

Doyoung is running around looking for spot to hide and he is out of his mind as he was when he was the seeker. It’s so funny watching him running here and there constantly. He is indeed our cute bunny. In the end, he didn’t get to hide when the countdown was up. Winwin who is done counting starts to look for everyone and caught Taeil right away. While they both chat about the wherebouts of Taeil, Doyoung makes his move and swiftly goes to the tram but Winwin discovers him quickly too. So both Taeil and Doyoung are failed. Wow, Winwin doing a great job eventhough he has less understanding about the game. Winwin says that the game is really easy. Talk about reversed game.

Yuta who is still under the bench has been watching everyone and finally starts to attack but he spots Winwin and goes hiding again. Since Winwin goes furthers into opposite direction, Yuta goes attack again and succeeds. It’s only Taeyong leave now and Winwin predicts that Taeyong is somewhere watching and yeah, Taeyong is watching through a hole. He is inside one of the house and after checking that it’s safe for him to go out, he sneak out and ready to attack when he spot Winwin in opposite direction. Winwin also spots him and it’s just how fast they gonna run matter and Taeyong failed to get into the tram before Winwin.

Winwin did a great job. Everyone got caught except the ninja Yuta so they play again to decide who will go into the haunted house alone among the 3 loser. This time there will be 2 seekers, Yuta and Winwin. This round will be hard one. The twos start to count while the loser 3 also start to look for hiding spot. Taeil is funny. He found a spot to hide and suddenly taking something out which is styrofoam and uses it as camouflage. I am giving you a side eye, Taeil. Taeyong hides perfectly at the spot where Yuta hid earlier. Doyoung is no where to found.

 Yuta and Winwin finish the count.Winwin says that since there is two of them, it will be easy for them to catch everyone. They go to separate and spot running Doyoung instantly but Doyoung doesn’t know he was seen and working hard in hide himself. Yuta and Winwin surround him and Doyoung who realized it late tells the cameraman to split but they ended up running to the same direction. Winwin surprised him and later we know, Doyoung get caught. But, is that Taeil in the tram? What happened to him? Turn out, while Doyoung was caught, Taeil ran fast and managed into the tram before Yuta.

Taeyong is still hidden and after peeks around, he attacks and succeeds. It’s only Doyoung who got caught so he will enter the haunted house alone. Yuta says that Doyoung have to buy ice cream for them 1^st and Doyoung counters back that there’s no such things. The last place only has to go into the haunted house alone. I see what you did there, Yuta. He tries to trick Doyoung to buy them ice cream.

After having fun playing the boys move to next place while Taeyong notes that he is really like a ninja in the last round.
