NCT Life In Osaka : (Episode 9) : NCT Returns to their Childhood at an Amusement Park

This episode will be a fun one because the boys going to Universal Studio Japan. A movie theme park and the boys especially enjoy their free fun time. The boys’ happiness is my happiness.

It’s 2^nd day of Yuta Tour in Osaka. This episode starts with the boys ready for another fun outing and Doyoung’s “What a nice day” (In English) catches my attention and Taeyong’s Japanase random words. All of them greet good morning to the camera. Good morning, boys. Yuta asked if they did sleep well and the boys answered that they did or as Taeyong say, they slept very well. Good to know, boys.

Yuta notes that this is a second day of Yuta Tour and he’s prepared many fun attractions place for them to go see. While they walk to the car, they found a cute dog outside their lodging. They board into the car while mumbling inu. Inu? What is inu? Again in the car, they greet good morning to the camera. Taeyong is screaming “oh awesome!!”. He spots the dog again outside his car window and keeps moving. He seems wanna go to touch the dog. He says that the dog looks like a younger Taeyong. Haha. Did he just call himself a dog? Early morning and he already felt sad that he can’t play with the dog, but don’t worry he got the chance when they returned to the lodging. What a cutie pie human being plays with a cutie pie dog.

In the car, Taeyong is learning some Japanese words with helps from Yuta. Off they go to their 1^st destination. The weather is so nice and perfect for amusement park walk. Doyoung asks Winwin if he been to Lottle World and Winwin says yes. Yuta adds that the foreigners have all been there and notes that Winwin already have been there 3 times. The 1^st time he went is with Ten. Doyoung says that there’s thing about foreigner trainee. Whenever there are new foreigner trainees, they have to bring them to Lotte World. He also adds that Winwin actually joined SM at the same time as Ten, but he went back to China for a while and then came back to Korea and they went to Lotte World again. The foreigners make it a point to visit Lotte World. It’s like a tradition of SM to enjoy Korea 100 times.

Yuta says that Lotte World is must visit place in Korea and been there 3 times too. Hence since they are in Japan they are going to Osaka amusement park, The Universal Studio Japan. The members say that they’ve been looking forward to it. They talk about Hogwarts and Doyoung is curious about it.

Doyoung : It’s not real magic right? We can’t break things right? Can we do that? Walk through walls?

Haha. Why he acts like such a 5-6 years old kid? Yuta is flustered and asks for forgiveness. He says that Doyoung expect too much.

Taeil : Can we do magic? Can we make things fly? Can we fly on broomsticks?

Okay, now the big brother also joins the kid club. Yuta is flustered again saying that they can’t do magic and it just feels like magic. Taeil is frustrated with that statement. Doyoung says that they are just muggles then in Hogwarts. Haha. He is engrossed with the Harry Potter story to be honest. Yuta tells them just to enjoy the feelings.

After a while, they can see the amusement park and Taeyong spots a girl wearing a Minions outfit and starts to make random voice imitation. I think he wants to do Minion voice imitation but failed while Winwin with his random conversation “Hey baby, what’s your name?”. 

All the boys are standing in front of the entrance to Universal Studio Japan and Yuta cracks his voice when he screams. The boys are excited. Doyoung says that he is in Gryffindor. Haha. I think everyone want to be a Gryffindor. Taeyong dances excitedly and weirdly. Winwin and Taeil both say that they look forward to it.

It said that it was very difficult to get NCT Life in there but somehow they actually managed it at the end. It was because of Na Yuta’s hardwork and they start to yell ‘Na Yuta, Na Yuta”. Haha. Yuta is happy. It’s time to go inside the studio but then they stop when a lady come to them ask for pictures or more like ask for their help to take their family pictures. Taeyong is flustered at the lady but still puts sincerity in taking the pictures and even take two. The staffs are laughing out loud.

What more fun about it that Taeyong a Korean talks to the family in Japanese when the family are Chinese. So they all greet in Japanese, Mandarin and English. What a Neo situation. I don’t even know what that’s mean but I think I get the point.  Haha. But good job boys. 

The members are already in Universal Studio Japan and move to the Harry Potter zone. The members are sorted to 4 different houses of Hogwarts. Gryffindor,Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Let’s see if Doyoung’s wish to be in Gryffindor fulfilled. Taeyong is in Hufflepuff and he says that it’s his 1^st year. WinWin is in Gryffindor and he introduces himself as Harry Winwin. Doyoung? He is in Slytherin. Haha. His wish didn’t come true, I guess. He seems not feel good about it. Hey, it suits you more. Slytherin is ambitious, pride and strength. Yuta also in Slytherin and he is having fun doing Wingardium Leviosa spell. Taeil is in Ravenclaw. I think they suit their house well. 

While on the way to Hogwarts Castle, they saw Weasly’s old car. The flying car that Harry was in. Yuta starts to pose for a pictures but Doyoung tells him to pose properly and both him and Taeyong tells Yuta to do some acting and there they go, act like they’re flying. Honestly, Taeyong and Doyoung’s combo is super hilarious. Yuta joins them and later Winwin too.

Then Doyoung suggests them to carry on to castle saying that they’re late. Haha. Doyoung just felt embarrassed with their silly action though he started it 1^st. But they seem actually enjoy being silly and keep doing their silly act.

After a while, they’re entering Hogwarts. A magic class is going on and catch their attention. Taeyong shares story about Johhny doing Harry Potter’s magic imitation. When they were on a Thailand Show, Johnny did ‘stupefy’ magic on Taeyong which make Taeyong can’t move. Haha. Taeyong misses his Johnny~~.

All of them focus their eyes on the class. They learn on how to make things explode. The spells is Bombarda Maxima and they have to turn their wand to the left 5 times and point at the object. They start to practice. All of them are satisfied with the class and join the other visitor shout Bombarda Maxima. Winwin is excited and screams that he learnt something. Haha. Doyoung is eager and says that he is ready to kill Voldermort. Haha.

After the class, they go to Hogsmeade, a secretive magical village near Hogwarts. On the way, they start act as a wizard again.

Taeyong : I am student who is favoured by Dumbledore!

Doyoung : There’s no such person in Hufflepuff!

Taeyong : The people behind me are just like wind~~ * try to ignore Doyoung*

Doyoung : We’re the Order of The Phoenix!

Taeyong : My dad got me this wand..

The two are immersed in their act. 1^st with the car and now this!! Winwin is in his own world and says that he used to watch Harry Potter a lot when he was little. Yuta who is beside him suddenly kisses his ears and makes Winwin blushing. Haha. So gay but really how to be Winwin?? Yuta  and Taeil use their camera as a broomstick. No real broomstick and so camera is ok then.

They stop by a lady to test their magic power. They learn the Meteolojinx spell, a spell that creates snow. They are eager to learn. Yuta says that only innocent and sincere people can succeed. Haha. I don’t know if that’s the real rule or Yuta just plays around with them. They have 3 chances to do the spell.

1^st year Wizard Taeyong challenges. 1^st trial, nothing happen. Yuta teaches him from the side. 2^nd trial, nothing happen too. Yuta says that it’s not working because Taeyong is not an innocent person. Haha. He adds that bad people can’t do this. Taeyong is flustered. 3^rd trial, he creates snow and he is happy dan dancing around.

Doyoung says that he is wizard while Yuta says that he is not human. WinWin and his bag challenge after Taeyong.  That’s a cute bag Winwin. Yuta thinks the same too. Winwin succeeds at once and is pretty excited about it. Singing wizard Taeil challenges and he succeeds at once too. Winwin and Taeil are sure an innocent youth. Haha. Since Taeil is excited, he did a Wingardium Leviosa spell too.

The smarty wizard Doyoung challenges last. 1^st trial, he failed. Taeyong is happy when Doyoung failed. Haha. Yuta thinks that Doyoung can’t do it because he’s from Slytherin. What?? Yuta is funny. You’re Slytherin too ah, Yuta!! Taeyong says that Taeil and Winwin are indeed really good. On Doyoung’s 2^nd trial, he likely going to fail but then snow flies. Haha. Well, he then a certificate a wizard and innocent youth like the rest.

Doyoung : What a relief!!

They left after that. Wait, Yuta hasn’t tries yet? I guess we all know Yuta is not innocent so they skip him to save his innocent image. Haha. While leaving, the boys rode their broomstick or camerastick again. Winwin is proud of himself and called himself a genius for did it in one try.

The boys are sitting at Hogsmeade. They all say that they are hungry and want to try Butterbeer. Yuta says that he’s prepared it and tells the member to get it for them. Taeil, Winwin and Taeyong get up to get their food while Doyoung and Yuta just sit around comfortably saying that since they’re from Slytherin, they don’t have to move. Well, a wise Slytherin there.

 

The food and butterbeer arrived. Taeyong says that the butterbeer called a beer but actually there’s no alcohol in it and then all of them start to dig in. Taeyong keeps thinking about Johnny. He says that Johnny would love to be there and do imitations all day. Taeyong is cute when he did ‘Harry’ imitations.

The boys slip into another act. Doyoung says that he used to eat this (refer to the meal) a lot when he was in Hogwarts. Yuta tells him that he went to Hogwarts too. Taeil says that he used to get scolded by Professor Snape. They ask the year they graduate. Taeil graduated in 2013, Yuta in 2008 and Doyoung graduated in 2005. That makes him as their senior. Taeyong says that he just got into Hogwarts that year. Doyoung says that Taeyong is a newborn then. Haha. Baby Taeyong. Yuta says that Winwin lives there. Winwin corrects him that he goes to school there.

Next, they talk about their school dorm aunt who prepared their food.

Taeil : Eating this meat prepared by the dorm aunt after a long time is difficult..

Doyoung : The dorm aunt?

Taeyong : She hasn’t aged a bit.

Doyoung : That aunt is actually a vampire. She doesn’t get old.

Taeil : She’s 230 years old!!

Taeyong : The method of a 230 year old is no joke. (referring to the meal)

Taeil : She has a know – how. Eat the potato. It was prepared in 230 year old way.

Doyoung : Hasn’t the way she prepares food changes? I think she’s lost her touch.

Yuta : Did she use to cut up the broccoli like this?

Doyoung : She used to give them to us uncooked!

Taeil : Last time, she just shook the dirt off it and served it to us. These days she’s following the trends.

Doyoung and Yuta : That’s right.

Taeyong : It used to taste like dirt last time.

Doyoung : You said you got into Hogwarts this year..

Haha, Taeyong is engrossed with their random words and forget that he’s a first student.

Doyoung : (To Taeil) Hyung, do you remember her? Do you remember Hermione?

Taeil : I ended things with her on bad terms.

Yuta : You dated her.

Taeyong : She was his first love!

Doyoung : They dated!

Taeil : I dumped her..

Doyoung : Taeyong hyung couldn’t even confess to her..

Yuta : He can’t, he just joined Hogwarts.

Doyoung : oh, right.

Taeyong : Actually, she’s my mom.

Doyoung : Taeil hyung is your dad?

Taeyong : Ah hyung, you’re my dad?

Yuta : He’s your son?

Taeil is flustered. The act is slowly turning into a soap opera. Taeyong asks Taeil if he and Hermione actually planned to have him or by an accident. Haha. Yuta is laughing out loud while Doyoung says that they’re just improvising now.

After having meal, fun and festival of random words at Hogwarts, they moved to Hollywood Boulevard. Yuta says that since they are in Hollywood, they should walk like Hollywood stars. And they walk with full of feeling. Okay boys, I don’t thinks I ever saw Hollywood stars walk like that. That kids even doing a street weird dance. They are excited when they saw Marilyn Monroe.

After walk a while, they saw the Minions and then boom, the members transforms into Minions. They even singing minions’ song. They are excited when the minions ran over to see them. All of them start to hug the minions and take pictures with them. Little we know, they start a dance session with the minions. They even make a couple dance and Yuta being a little bit over with his dance. Taeyong scolds him for that. Poor Taeil, the minion doesn’t know that he is next to him. It’s really fun watching the boys having fun.

 

Next, they are in front of Universal Studio Japan giant globe. They say that they very satisfied with the 1^st activity of day 2. Doyoung who is still in Harry Potter role playing mode says that they visited their alma mater after a long time. Since they are in Universal Japan Studio, they take a commemorative photo together. Ohya, the members keep shouting yeah everytime Yuta finished his talk. Haha.

Solo interview.

The members say that today was really fun and the energy was much different than yesterday. Doyoung says that the minions are really cute and looked real. Taeil is pretty much still in love with his Wingardium Leviosa.

This episode is fun and makes me want to watch Harry Potter again. The childhood memory.  The best part when they make their own Harry Potter sketch. Little we know, Taeyong is a secret child of Taeil. Haha. Yuta is happy watching his members have fun. They all really look like a kid.
